Research conducted by casino guide Casinoarabi.io analysed the latest available injury data to determine which clubs in Europe’s top five leagues have unfortunately suffered the most injuries this season. The 98 outfits were then ranked by the combined total number of games players have missed due to injury.

With 156 absences due to injury, the study found that FC Köln have been the side most impacted by injuries in Europe’s top five leagues in 2022/23. Striker Mark Uth has been side-lined for much of their campaign, having missed 24 games.
The German club were closely followed by Premier League giants Liverpool, who with a combined total of 151 games players missed, ranked in second. Luis Diaz picked up an injury against league leaders Arsenal in October, a setback that has led to him missing most of the season.
Last season’s Serie A winners AC Milan ranked in third for combined total number of games players have missed due to injury (140), having played the greatest number of minutes out of any club in the top 10. Global star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has missed 24 games.
The Rossoneri were followed by UC Sampdoria, where players have missed a combined total of 137 games this season. Unlike Milan, the Italian outfit have played the fewest minutes out of teams ranked in the top 10. However, they have still suffered plenty of injuries.
West London’s Chelsea ranked in fifth (137). The Blues have endured a torrid season by their standards but that has been impacted by their high injury count, including the fact that N’Golo Kante has had plenty of setbacks.
Bundesliga duo FC Schalke 04 (136) and FC Augsburg (135) ranked in sixth and seventh respectively for their combined total number of games players missed, whilst Real Sociedad players have missed the greatest number of games in La Liga (135).
Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United ranked in tenth (133). The Red Devils have had to contend with plenty of injuries this season, with Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek missing more than 20 games.
European giants Juventus (125), Borussia Dortmund (124) and Bayern Munich (115) all also ranked in the top 15.
