The sheer magnitude of this fleet of vintage and contemporary German sports cars is such that it will be split into two distinct auctions, each offering its own allure.
In total, 86 remarkable automobiles will be presented for sale, with Porsche Carerras constituting the majority of the collection.
Among the illustrious models scheduled to go under the hammer is the iconic 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS Touring. Resplendent in a vibrant yellow hue, this motorcraft achieves a remarkable top speed of 152mph, catapulting from 0 to 60mph in a mere 5.9 seconds. While a previous specimen commanded an impressive £790,000, experts anticipate that this particular gem will fetch around £450,000.
Another jewel up for grabs is the sleek silver 1995 Porsche 911 GT2 Evolution, a true automotive marvel that sprints from 0 to 60mph in a mind-blowing 3.3 seconds. With a top speed of 187mph, its estimated selling price is also projected to reach approximately £450,000.
The prestigious RM Sotheby’s auction will be divided into two segments. The first event, featuring the larger portion of the collection, will be held at the esteemed Hotel Meilenstein in Langenthal, Switzerland on 7th July. The second half will take place at RM Sotheby’s in Milan on 12th July.

The total assemblage comprises 86 awe-inspiring vehicles, with approximately 50 vehicles to be showcased at the Swiss-based auction and around 30 at the Italian-based auction.
The Swiss event will host the first half of this two-part sale, where aficionados can feast their eyes on remarkable exhibits such as the resplendent 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring. Its striking original colours, Light Yellow over Black, add to its allure.
The Carrera Collection isn’t confined to road-bound machines alone; it also boasts a standout contender in the form of the 1995 Porsche 911 GT2 Evolution. This particular model represents the epitome of performance during the air-cooled era of the 911. Painstakingly rebuilt in the mid-2010s by Rennsport of Reggio Emilia, Italy, it is sure to captivate discerning collectors.
