YEEP! stands as a sophisticated residential network comprising open, agnostic, battery-powered parcel lockers. These lockers facilitate the seamless pickup and drop-off of parcels for all carriers and consumers, right in the heart of their local communities, offering an eco-friendly and convenient solution.
The YEEP! parcel locker service has already gone live at various locations, with an impressive count of over 400 lockers expected to be operational this year, including the 50 stations on the Southeastern route. As part of its expansion strategy, the parcel locker network aims to reach 1,000 lockers by Q2 2024, with ambitious plans to install 10,000 lockers across the entire UK.
Operating as a high-density, hyper-local parcel delivery network, YEEP! relies on a data-driven model that is highly focused. It guides the selection of locations, aiming to ensure that a staggering 90% of the population is within a mere 250 meters, or “slipper distance,” of a YEEP! locker.
These easy-to-install, maintenance-free battery-powered lockers are accessible to all UK carriers, retailers, and local authorities. They offer the convenience of 24/7 parcel drop-offs and pickups, contributing significantly to reducing the carbon footprint associated with traditional courier deliveries.
