A team of energy efficiency specialists based at Keele University has joined forces to assist vulnerable households in accessing government funding that could change their lives.
Following the launch of the fourth phase of the government’s Energy Company Obligation, Residential Energy Services has launched a fast, free eligibility checker and advice service to help vulnerable homeowners start their application process.
The Energy Company Obligation aims to tackle fuel poverty by providing eligible households on low incomes with access to whole-house retrofit measures, which will help reduce energy bills and improve the living conditions of those in need.
At the same time, the Great British Insulation Scheme, which is set to launch this summer, aims to provide loft and wall insulation to as many fuel-poor homes as possible. Residential Energy Services has been established to speed up and simplify the application process for eligible property owners.
“We are a team of energy advisors with extensive experience in domestic retrofit, energy efficiency, and construction. Our team engages with homeowners and guides them through the eligibility, retrofit assessment, and installation process. We pride ourselves on our ethical approach to engagement, working with homeowners to achieve the best possible outcome,” says Sarah Parry, Managing Director of Residential Energy Services.
The Residential Energy Services website is now live and features an eligibility checker that takes just a few minutes. Visit the website to learn more about ECO Grants and retrofit measures suitable for your home.
